Great location and view from bluff above the ocean. The house was excellent for our needs. The kitchen was well appointed and the barbecue and hot tub worked without any problems. This is a rural area with very limited dining options unless you drive several miles north toward Elk, Albion and Mendocino.
The house, property and location was beautiful. The spa was not totally clean when we got there and by the time we used it for the first time, it became quite cloudy. We looked for chlorine but could not find any. Leaving some available would be helpful. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation. This is the spot to come and relax. The view from the hot tub is priceless. We both love to cook and cooking with the view from the kitchen is a definite plus. We will be back again.

This was so relaxing for my wife and our friends. The view was amazing and the weather was great.
We enjoyed our recent stay at the Bellagio immensely. The 180 degree panoramic ocean views are amazing and it was so relaxing to listen to the ocean roar at night. The house has neighbors, but it felt very private. I had a lot of fun cooking in the gourmet kitchen and the king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was super clean and perched right on the cliff overlooking the waves. We had plans to visit Mendocino Village during the day, but the house was so nice we decided to stay put and just relax! My family hopes to be back soon!
We had a wonderful vacation. Very relaxing. Cooking in this beautiful kitchen was a delightful part of this trip. We could cook and sip wine while viewing the ocean. we will be back again. The Walsers

I have to say that the pictures did not do this rental justice ... we all felt the quality exceeded our expectations. We picked this home because of the promise of a ocean view, and we were not disappointed. We found the home to roomy enough for 6 adults and able to meet all of our needs. The sleeper couch though, was most uncomfortable ... we had to move the mattress to the floor each night ... luckily we brought a memory foam, as the mattress was pretty thin. It would probably be fine for small children ... I wouldn't recommend for adults. As stated in reviews we read before deciding to rent, we also found all the faucets to be a bit of a problem ... especially the master bath shower. Be careful not to scald yourself ... we also found it helped to not use water else where in the house when someone is bathing. More towels would have been nice. We found some of the kitchen appliances to be fine, others not so much. If you love your coffee as we all do, bring your own coffee maker ... the one there gives your coffee an added flavor of plastic. Any of the problems we had were more annoyances than anything else ... we were able to made it all work and enjoyed ourselves so much that we would come again in spite of them. The private beach was great ... bring a kite :o)
We Really enjoyed the GREAT view and peacefulness. The ocean is minutes away & so beautiful. The home is cute and o so cozy. Appliances need updating but all work just hard to figure out. FUN & PEACEFUL.

We love the location & fantastic view (several whale sightings right off the beach below), the comfortable beds, nice furnishings, & well-equipped kitchen. We eventually learned to use the water faucets & stovetop (older & a bit tricky to regulate). A minor problem with dishwasher was fixed promptly. This rental agency has always been responsive to any request/need. Definitely hope to return to Bellagio.
I didn't like the gas fireplace at all. Like to have a nice natural fire at nite. the flames barely showed and were all in a straight line. Not attractive for romantic ambiance.
If you like super soft beds, then this is the place for you. Well appointed kitchen, just wish there was at least one cupboard to store our dry goods (instead of on the counter). Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and east access to the beach.
Our only issue was not with the house, but with the crapy internet. I would suggest removing it from the property description because the service was down our whole stay.
The local internet provider went bankrupt.
We've been vacationing on the coast for over 20 years, the last 8 years being at Irish Beach. I would have to say the Bellagio was by far the nicest home we've stayed in. Its simple, VERY CLEAN and has a lovely location. The people that helped me rent this perfect house for us were so helpful and so nice! We have told our friends about it..and we do plan on coming back next year. Thank you Kim & Toni Hansen
This is the second time that we rented this home. It is in a great location, the home is in nice condition and with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is very well equipped (better than most). Beautiful deck with nice hot tub that has a great view of the beach and ocean. Very comfortable home!

We had a wonderful 5 days & nights...mixed sun and morning fog so we got to use the hot tub, the fireplace, and the sunshades...we were always comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware so we made lots of good food. Played games. Read books. Walked daily on the beach. And watched whales too!
Loved the property. We experienced a pipe leak and were unable to use the kitchen sink. "Barbara" from the office was so helpful with trying to move us and giving us the option to stay. We chose to stay at the Bellagio. It was the best.
Couch needs some comfort work. Stove top igniters often need match.
The house was very comfortable and exactly what we needed. We like staying somewhere where we are not bothered by housekeeping or staff,especially in the morning. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. Check-in is very simple. We have stayed here twice and hope to make it a yearly visit.
We had a great stay at the Bellagio. It was a beautiful house with a beautiful view, especially from the hot tub. I think it was the best rental on Irish Beach Rd, it seemed to have a little more privacy than the others. It was a smaller house, which was nice, but I wouldn't recommend more than four adults unless you're all very close. The house was very clean and well kept, all the furniture was nice and new. It wasn't the most child friendly since there wasn't much of a yard and the cliff was not fenced off, but it was worth it for the beautiful view. Neighbors are very close by as they are for all rentals on the street, so it might not be for you if you're looking for privacy. Still, there were not very many people, (we went before Memorial Day weekend) and we usually had the whole, beautiful beach to ourselves thanks to the private beach access. Would highly recommend for the unbeatable view.

We had a wonderful time staying in Irish Beach at the Bellagio house. The location was very convenient for the area and the view was stunning. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying Mendocino.

Our Stay at Bellagio was a wonderful time for our family to slow down, reconnect, regroup and build memories! It was a wonderful time. Our only complaint, it went by much too fast! We will return!!!
We have stayed at two other houses on Irish Beach and we liked Bellagio the best. It seemed to be more updated than the others, and we really liked the view and location best. The kitchen was nicely stocked with appliances and utensils, but was probably the only part of the house that has not been updated. The furniture was beautiful and nicely coordinated (not just a collection of old hand-me-downs)The beds were also very nice and comfortable. The hot tub had a fantastic ocean view. The house was smaller than the others we have rented, we were four adults and found it quite comfortable. It might be a little tight for larger families.
What an amazing place to stay and relax...great deck, great hot tub, nice bedrooms and kitchen...the only thing that i would say needs improvment is the telescope (not a very good one at all) and the addition of screens on the doors and windows...we had a lot of flies in the house...a lot! No screens on the sliding doors to the deck meant a constant battle with flies.
Bellagio has recently been remodeled
We hope to return in the future. The view, the home interior, the private beach, the spa overlooking the ocean---too beautiful for words.
Some minor points: - need steps to hot tube that do not slip on wet wood - master bedroom toilette wastes much water (handle) - updated info about local restaurants, food shopping - great wine

We had such an amazing time at the Bellagio. We didn't want to leave ! The property managment was so professional, trusting and nice. Which is rare anymore. We loved the entire experience..and highly recomend Irish beach Properties to everyone. We will be back !
I'm one who takes these surveys seriously, so every 5 star rating I gave is a true 5 star rating. My family thoroughly enjoyed the Bellagio cabin. Located right on the cliff overlooking the ocean with a large wrap-around deck and hot tub made for an incredible spot to sit and watch the spectacular California sunsets. The interior looks great too with the upgraded flooring, new furniture, big flat-screen TV, and roomy walk-in shower in the master bath. One of the highlights of the stay was all the wild black tail deer that frequent the grounds. A very enjoyable experience.
Open the front door & wow, the view takes one's breath away. What a view to wake up to every morning. Nicely furnished & liked the fact it wasn't cluttered. Great house for 4, crowded for any more. Very comfortable & would defintiely rent again.

The owner has really done a fabulous job of updating. The furniture is very tasteful, the views will stop your heart! Imagine cooking at a stove where you look for six miles down a sandy beach at a lighthouse! To die for! And to have the same great view from the perfect hot tub! I almost hate to say too much because we will have a hard time getting the place again when we want to rent it! But, honestly. You really won't be disappointed in this property.

Our recent six day stay at your Bellagio house included two older couples, my wife and I from Lake County, CA and our good friends from Madison, WI. Our friend from Madison is recuperating from a series illness and we knew that our wonderful California North Coast would be just what the doctor ordered for her. We were not disapointed. Our friends hated to leave. The house was perfect for two to four people, and everything was in excellent condition. we also appreciated the wine that was waiting upon our arrival. Would liked to have had internet access. Advertised as having it, but it did not work. Otherwise, great place.
This home was probably built in the early eighties. There is no central heating, only a fireplace and three space heaters. There have been no improvements to date. The carpet was stained. The windows were mostly inoperable. The furniture was old and dated, although the beds were extremely comfortable. The home is slated for a much needed overhaul. After driving from San Francisco to Fort Bragg via coastal route 1, I would say that this is hands down the best location in Northern California for a vacation on the water. The house is located directly on a cliff, on the water. The views can’t be beat. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is in a very quiet area. There isn't much need to leave if you stock the fridge with food. Just stay there and relax. Driving anywhere will turn into an all day affair and leave you wondering why you left such a nice spot anyway. The restaurants are few and far between and charge high prices for mediocre food. The best place to buy groceries is in Fort Bragg at the only real “super” market within 100 miles. There is a small market four miles south, but the drive to Fort Bragg is well worth it. My stay was during the first three days of May. We had perfect 70 degree sunny days. Overall, I would recommend this house to anyone as the rates were very competitive and reasonable.
Bellagio has been remodeled recently and all new hardwood floors have been installed. All rooms in the house have been painted, beautiful andirondack deck furniture has been provided, plus all new interior living room furniture, flat screen plasma tv, iPod dock station and central heating with gas fireplace. This Fall the kitchen will receive a complete remodel. Please come again and enjoy all of the improvements that Bellagio has to offer.
We liked everything about the location and the house in general. However we found the electric heaters to be an inefficient and wastful way to heat the house.

When you walk in the front door and see the back wall of windows and the ocean view it takes your breath away. WOW!!
For safety concerns, there are no hand railings at the main entrance on granite floor and steps. My husband loves to do water color and I love to sew, knit. We work full time and still manage to be very generous people with our time for freinds, family, elder care etc. Living in the bay area since the 1950's and seeing Santa Clara Valley become Silicon Valley has been ever more a challenge to enjoy our love of art when the demands are high living there and the interruptions seem to never stop, until we leave. I could not locate a card table stored for the benefit to use either for sewing, water color etc. Fortunately, we did bring one of our own, but it would be nice to find one there to use. Because Irish Beach is strictly a residential only environment,is why we return to pick up where we left off. We do not want to go anywhere else the whole time we are there, we want to savour the real experience of being away from it all and to only see, hear and smell the ocean. One of the incredible bonus that we were so lucky to witness, was a hawk that held absolute steadfast in flight waiting for the perfect moment to drop straight down to earth and catch his breakfast. This bird of prey literally hung in the sky motionless for about 15 minutes. An incredible sight to see while we had coffee on the deck. We love to cook and enjoy wine and we would go out to the deck and watch for shooting stars and this too is so unusual to see in the bay area. We watched storms move in and then gorgeous the next day. We discovered the love of trying to launch stunt kites against the wind on Irish beach and laughing at ourselves of how much practice it will take to perfect this adventure. We hope that we can come back and pick up where we left off for our much needed respite.
We have stayed in this house twice. The view alone is worth the trip. We love the deck and hot tub. You wont be disappointed!
The deck furniture was very Spartan but an otherwise wonderful and magical experience.
