the Deck is protected from neighboring houses which is nice for getting in and out of the hot tub as well as laying around the deck soaking up the sun. great privacy. the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances, great music collection, nice surround sound. the only inconvenience which is a miner one is that they have great VHS movies selection but no VHS player, only a DVD player and no DVD's. minor bump in the road...
And there are pleanty of trips to make you are 45 minutes from wine tasting a brewery 45 minutes from ft bragg,lots to do there.10 minutes from pt arena witch the house has a wonderfull view off.We went up in the light house got some wonderfull pictures.then on the way out we walked for 2 hours on the cliffs of the public lands,collected shells and sea glass.IF YOU ARE STRESSED AND NEED A BREAK THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU...

I have never had a bad place at Irish Beach, the houses are always clean and I can always find staff to give me advice when I go to explore.
We have been going to Irish Beach for the last 30 years. I think that says it all. We love it there!
the trees bordering the property, especially those facing Point Arena, need trimming. they are starting to block the magnificent view when sitting on the deck. same for the bushes now rising high above the deck directly facing west - blocks the magnificent view of the sunset. but this would not keep us from returning. thank you!

We wanted an ocean view, but thought our 14 mo. old son was coming with us so we had to pick a child friendly vacation home. We ended up not taking him, but still had a great time. The view was nice, a little far, but nice. I WOULD NOT have been happy with a toddler and the steep stairs up to the top bedroom. He would have been obsessed with trying to climb them, so I am happy he didn't attend. So, if you are bringing a toddler, make sure to bring a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs. We have been renting vacation homes at Irish Beach since 1994. We love the area and consider this particular home our favorite. Great management as well!

My daughters and I have been staying at this house for about six years and we consider it our own. Secretly the plan is to buy it for a retirement house. My girls have grown up with knowing that the purple carpet and loft room is part of their childhood. Nothing like it.
