Best house ever - wish they would keep renting

Hi everyone, The one thing I wished was that we could contact the rental company by pressing "0" on the phones like at a hotel. Also, the bathroom at La Ventana had a funny fishy smell, we could not figure out what it was. Everything else was perfection!! Thank you again!
Master bedroom was wonderful. It was walking distance to the trout pond although the trout pond has not been kept up (overgrown weeds, infested with yellow perch that eat the trout, and hardly a place to cast with tullies everywhere). There were no trout in the trout pond. The house was very clean though and the kitchen was very nice also.
The property was a very welcoming experience. My family and I had a great time in the residence. This is our second time renting this particular home due to location and up to date amenities.
La Ventana allowed us a great opportunity to regroup, relax and enjoy time together. The home was big enough we could all spread out and enjoy our time. A great place to stay!!
All the staff was friendly and very helpful. We really loved the fact that we could bring our two dogs.
We love Irish Beach and my family has rented houses here for 35-40 years. Always a beautiful place, this home was very comfortable, nice view. We lost power for a few hours in the storm but that left quality family time. Had a few ants in the house and missed the use of the telescope but overall a nice house. Thanks
The house is fantastic and the neighborhood is great for dogs and kids. We especially loved the hot tub and our adventures at nearby Irish Beach. Our only room for improvement- the towels at La Ventana need to be replaced- lots of holes and stains.
Towels are rotated out on a regular bases.
We really appreciated being able to share our visit with our pet dog. We signed up for another long stay next year, even asfter comparing to other rental taht were pet friendly. We really were pleased with the spa ... particularly it being ready for our use when we arrived. The opportunity to park our vehicles in the garage was also appreciated again this year. We are sorry to see that property up for sale, and we surely hope possible new owners are a as considerate as present owners.
This is our third stay in this home. We appreciate this home for a number of reasons including that it is new and very clean. At the same time it is comfortable with an open floor plan that is great for family time. The fact that we can bring our dogs makes the stay in this home even better.
The rental needs more family activities...card games, board games over all it was a very clean and comfortable home. We will definately like to stay here again. :-)
This house is great! This is our second time staying at this house. On sunny days you can see the ocean from the back livingroom. Comfortable for families and friends with 3 bedrooms all with their own TV/DVD players. Great spa tub and seperate shower in master bath. Nice hot tub with ok views-could use a little more privacy. Wonderful wildlife viewing. Great beach within short drive. We all had a very relaxing and fun time!
We've vacationed on the north coast for many years. This was our second stay at Irish Beach. Everything was very nice.
We had a wonderful stay at a new, beautiful, clean home. Our 4-year old grandson saw the expansive master bath and said, "Why are we staying in a hotel?" He hadn't seen a master quite like that in a home. Whirlpool bath, separate shower, great view from the bedroom. Views from all but one room. The upstairs crows nest was small, but very popular. The kitchen had new appliances and there was a TV in every room. We had a great time!
I somehow had assumed that the beach was closer to the house, that is, that we could easily walk down the road and then take some stairs to the beach. It was a surprise when we had to take the car and drive down to the beach.
The beach access road is only a few minutes drive from any home here in the subdivision.
This dog-friendly place was a perfect get away for our first family vacation with our ten month old daughter. The house was beautiful and very toddler-friendly (though it had no high chair.) Our only complaint is that the gas fireplace only works via a remote and there were no instructions for the remote. Despite our best efforts (and my husband being a computer programmer), we couldn't get the fireplace to work - which was a real drawback when you're looking for ambiance. The (Irish Beach, generally) is wonderful. The private beach is great. The location of the home is Irish Beach is nice. We've stayed in oceanview/bluff properties before and we liked those, but this one has great ocean views, despite not being on the bluff. Deer and other wild life loiter in the yard. We'd definitely stay in this place again - provided we get instructions on how to use the fireplace.
Four friends & a small dog had a great stay at LaVentana. The house was very spacious with a fantastic view(a pleasant surprise, as we knew it wasn't located right on an ocean bluff). The house was well stocked, & the property management personnel where very helpful & prompt with our request for assistnace. We would definitely stay at LaVentana again.
The private beach is just fantastic, providing hours of fun for kids and adults.
Our family wanted to rent 3 homes within walking distance. The property manager was extremely helpful. She came up with two options--3 houses right on the beach and 3 on the other side of the road. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved this vacation house! Great location, views, beach very close! Irish Beach is the best!
Beautiful home with all the conveniences. Home is on east side of Hwy 1 but did not hear traffic and walked to beach. Great to sit back and relax in yard, on deck, or living room, all with ocean views. Especially recommended for dogs since no leash restrictions, in contrast to Sonoma beaches.

We loved staying at this house. It has been almost a year now. It was beautiful inside and out. My kids still ask if we can go back to the water house!!
